• 1:00 PM: Walk 5 minutes to the Giant Eyeball, a 30-foot tall structure perfect for Instagramming.
• 1:30 PM: Head to Thanksgiving Square to admire the stained glass in the chapel, waterfalls, and the Stargate-like structure. Explore the Dallas Pedestrian Network from here, connecting downtown skyscrapers with shops and food courts.

Art & Culture:

• 3:00 PM: Visit the Dallas Museum of Art, which offers an impressive collection of over 24,000 works spanning 5,000 years of history. From ancient artifacts to contemporary masterpieces, it’s a cultural treasure trove that will captivate art lovers.

Dinner & Relaxation:

• 5:00 PM: Enjoy dinner at Klyde Warren Park next door, a vibrant food truck park built atop a tunnel highway. The park features a large, safe kids’ playground, Mi Cocina for great Mexican food, and an interactive water fountain shooting water 50 feet up.

Evening Stroll:

7:30 PM: Walk back on Akard Street to the AT&T Discovery District. End your night with dessert, coffee, or a drink at the bar in the Exchange Hall. Have your parking ticket validated at the bar for free parking on weekends or after 5 PM on weekdays.

Uptown Dallas Exploration

Arrival:

• 11:00 AM: Park for free in the West Village parking garages in Uptown Dallas.

Shopping & Lunch:

• 11:30 AM: Roam around the West Village shopping district.
• 12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at Velvet Taco, just a 5-minute walk away.

Trolley Ride:

• 1:30 PM: Wait streetside for the free Uptown Trolley that connects Uptown Dallas. Use the Uptown trolley tracker to see real-time locations. Fun Fact: Uptown Dallas is known for its vibrant nightlife and historic trolley system.
• 2:00 PM: Enjoy a 45-minute trolley ride through Uptown, Victory Avenue, and the Arts District.

Museum Visit:

• 3:00 PM: Hop off at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. This museum offers hands-on exhibits, a 3D theater, and fascinating displays on everything from dinosaurs to space exploration.

Dinner:

6:30 PM: Walk another 2 blocks back to the free trolley stop and head back to West Village to end your day.

5:00 PM: Walk 2 blocks to the Happiest Hour for great food and drinks.

Family Fun Day in Dallas

• 2:00 PM: Visit the Dallas Farmers Market District, one of Texas’ top attractions. Explore the various stalls, the massive urban plant store, and the diverse food options in The Market food hall. My favorite is Nammi, which offers delicious Vietnamese food.
